Day 1: NAIROBI

On arrival at JKIA you are met by a Spurfowl Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day resting and adjusting to the different time zone. Lunch and dinner on own account. Overnight at TAMARIND TREE HOTEL (bed & breakfast).

Day 2: NAIROBI / TSAVO WEST

After breakfast and check-out, depart for the drive south to Tsavo West National Park, known for bird life and for its large mammal’s e.g. black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo and Masai lion. There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park, such as the bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Masai giraffe. Transfer to the lodge with a game viewing drive en route to arrive in time for lunch. Depart later in the evening for a game viewing drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at VOYAGER ZIWANI TENTED CAMP (full board).

Day 3: TSAVO WEST

After breakfast depart for a morning game viewing drive, common wildlife sightings here include: lion, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, elephant, water buck, topi, eland, gazelle, etc. and hundreds of species of birds. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive which will include a visit to Mzima Springs home to hippos and crocodiles. There’s also the opportunity to descend to an underground viewing chamber to watch the animals underwater. Dinner and overnight at VOYAGER ZIWANI TENTED CAMP(full board).

Day 4: TSAVO WEST / TSAVO EAST

Early morning game drive in the park (optional). This is also the ideal time to view the eternal snows of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). Back to the lodge for breakfast after which you proceed to Tsavo East National Park and enter in search of its rich fauna and flora. Arrive in time for lunch at the camp and depart later for a game viewing drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at ASHNIL ARUBA CAMP (full board).

Day 5: TSAVO EAST

Spend the day on morning and afternoon game viewing drives, a variety of animals can be seen such as Lions, Leopard, Cheetah, Zebras, Giraffes, Serval Cats, Antelopes, Kongoni, and Lesser kudu, Oryx, Klipspringer, Impala, stripped Hyena, Ostriches, Gazelles, Buffalos and Elephants. This is also home to the world’s longest lava flow, the Yatta Plateau. All meals and overnight at ASHNIL ARUBA CAMP (full board).

Day 6: TSAVO EAST / MOMBASA

Enjoy a final early morning game viewing drive returning for breakfast and check-out. Exit the Park with a game drive en route to the Kenyan coast of Mombasa. On arrival, you are transferred to your hotel on the north coast via Nyali Bridge. Check-in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Lunch on own account. Dinner and overnight at VOYAGER BEACH RESORT (half board).

Day 7 & 8: MOMBASA

Spend the next two days at leisure or on optional activities arranged upon request and are payable direct. The activities include; water sports, visits to Marine Parks, Haller Park, Gedi Ruins, Shimba Hills Reserve, Wasini & Kisite Dhow, Tamarind Dhow dinner cruise among others. Lunches on own account. Breakfast, dinner and overnights at VOYAGER BEACH RESORT(half board).

Day 9: MOMBASA / DEPART

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out, you are transferred to the Moi International Airport for your onward flight.
