Day 1: NAIROBI / MASAI MARA

Picked up by a Spurfowl Safaris representative  and depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara.  Arrive in time for lunch at your camp followed by an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara is Kenya’s finest and most outstanding wildlife sanctuary where gentle rolling grassland ensures animals are never out of sight. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year round. Here you have the possibility of seeing “The Big Five” and many other species of game. This is where the great wildebeest migration takes place from July to October each year. After your game drive viewing drive enjoying the diverse flora and fauna you will return to your camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: MASAI MARA

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the reserve followed by breakfast at the lodge.

Rest of the morning is spent at leisure. Lunch will be served at the camp. Enjoy a late afternoon game drive. This is home not only to the big five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino & buffalo).  Among other animals to be seen include; cheetah, giraffe, hyenas, topi, wildebeest, zebra, impala, Thomson’s gazelle, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance. Optional activities available include; hot air balloon safari, visit to local schools and villages, nature/bird walks. You also have an opportunity to visit a village of the Maasai people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals.

Day 3: MASAI MARA / NAIROBI / DEPART

Early Morning breakfast in the camp, check out and depart with an en-route game viewing as you depart to Nairobi stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for an aerial view of the beautiful escarpment. Arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch (on own account) and later transferred to JKIA for your outbound flight.

You will have en-route lunch on the way at your own cost. The tours end in Nairobi.
